Getting there
Patmos doesn’t have an airport, but getting there is part of the adventure. From Athens, you can fly to a nearby island like Kos, Leros or Samos and continue by ferry, or take an overnight ferry directly from the Port of Piraeus.
Flying
The quickest way is to take a short flight from Athens to one of the nearby island airports such as Samos, Kos, or Leros — these flights are usually around 45 minutes or so and run more frequently in the summer season. From those islands, you can catch a ferry or high-speed boat over to Patmos.
